How do I find jobs on AussieStart?
Finding jobs on AussieStart is simple:
- Navigate to the Jobs section from the main menu
- Use the search bar to find jobs by keyword, title, or company
- Apply filters to narrow down results by location, job type, category, etc.
- Browse through the listings and click on any job for more details
- Save interesting jobs to view later by clicking the bookmark icon
What types of jobs are available?
AussieStart features a wide variety of jobs suitable for backpackers, including:

How do I apply for a job?
To apply for a job:
- Find a job you're interested in and click on it to view the full details
- Click the "Apply Now" button on the job listing
- Write a cover letter or message to the employer
- Optionally attach your resume/CV
- Submit your application
How many jobs can I apply for?
Free users can apply for one job without any charge. To apply for additional jobs, you'll need to upgrade to our Premium subscription for €9.99/month, which gives you unlimited job applications along with other benefits like priority listings and advanced search filters.
What happens after I apply for a job?
After submitting your application:
- The employer receives your application and can view your profile
- You'll receive a confirmation notification in your dashboard
- The employer may contact you via our messaging system or directly via email
- You can track the status of all your applications in your dashboard
- If selected, the employer will arrange an interview or next steps
