Please read these terms carefully before using AussieStart.
Welcome to AussieStart ("Platform"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Platform.
AussieStart is owned and operated by Berkant Yazgan, registered as a sole trader (Einzelunternehmer) in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, you must not use the Platform.
You must provide accurate, complete information when registering. Required information includes full name, valid email address, strong password, nationality, and a government-issued ID for verification.
All users must verify their identity by uploading a government-issued ID (passport, driver's licence, or national ID). This ensures community safety and trust.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential, all activities under your account, and notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access.
Each person may only hold one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension of all related accounts.
AussieStart provides: job listings and application services, accommodation listings and inquiry services, community features for travellers, and user profiles with verification.
AussieStart does not guarantee continuous uninterrupted access, employment or accommodation outcomes, accuracy of all third-party listings, or specific response times from providers.
AussieStart acts solely as an intermediary platform. We are not an employer, employment agency, or accommodation provider. All agreements are between users and providers directly.

Providers may post jobs and accommodation listings. Provider features are included with applicable plans.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then.
Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started. Unused balance is non-transferable but remains in your account indefinitely unless an inactivity fee applies.
AussieStart uses a prepaid balance system for job applications. You must maintain sufficient balance before applying for jobs.
Balance is deducted automatically when you submit a successful application. The cost depends on your active subscription plan.
Balance top-ups are final and non-refundable once processed.
You agree not to: post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings; harass or harm other users; use the Platform for illegal purposes; attempt to circumvent security measures; scrape or copy Platform content without permission; or use automated tools to interact with the Platform.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension without notice.
You retain ownership of content you post. By submitting content, you grant AussieStart a non-exclusive licence to display, distribute, and promote it on the Platform.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you post. AussieStart does not pre-screen content but reserves the right to remove any content at its discretion.
AussieStart may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, inactivity, or any reason at our discretion. You may delete your own account at any time from your profile settings.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AussieStart shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, employment or accommodation outcomes, or actions of other users.
Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid to AussieStart in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have access to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms under applicable EU law.
